About Jarvie Computing
Jarvie Computing was founded in 2009 with a strong foundation of over sixteen years of technology and project management experience to help small businesses in the Newcastle and Hunter Regions area get the most out of their business technology. Over this time we’ve helped dozens of small businesses relieve their technology worries so that they can concentrate on growing their businesses and realizing their goals.
Our History
We started this business from the perspective of servicing computers onsite, at the location they are situated. Doing this has enabled us to and use the computer in it's enviroment. Since Jarvie computing was established it has grow steadily to over and above the original business plan, we looked at the IT industry closely and noticed area's of business that needed to be changed. How many business do you know that have never backed up there data? This is Jarvie Computing's philosophy to ensure clients data is a safe and secure.
2009 - started out at ground level from our home.
2009 - the business still operates from home but the sales team now has the advantage of working from any were as Jarvie Computing utilizes Microsoft Small Business Server 2008. We now use Office 365 online for our email and sharepoint requirements
2010 - This year Jarvie computing has grown steadily into more small business in the Newcastle Region. With modern technology our business moved towards Service Level agreements. Another exciting area we are helping our clients with is Automated Remote Backup. We have secured managed servers taking care of clients important business documents and files.
2011 - With a change in the computer data arena, cloud computing has begun. We have partnered with Google and Microsoft to provide email and collaberation services for small business.
2012 - In order to keep our highest quailty of service, mangaged information technolgy service contracts are our focus. We offer a range of packages for all our clients. To find out more please email us.

Steven Jarvie Owner Manager
Steven brings to Jarvie computing over 20 years of experience in the technical area. A Radio Fitter Mechanic by trade (Electronics Technician). Prior to founding Jarvie Computing Steven worked in different areas of electronics from repairs to construction. It wasn't till 1997 he moved into the computer arena. A qualified Microsoft System Builder and workshop manager. From a technical perspective Steven understands that the need for a reliable and consistent computing environment in order to run a cost effective productive business. He has put years of effort into keeping his current customers business operating without downtime by continually keeping an eye on there IT infrastructure.
